Guest Lectures in the Department of Pharmacy of AKS University The two lecture series in view of International Lecture Series.

Under the International Guest Lecture Series, two expert guest lectures were organized in the Department of Pharmacy of AKS University, Satna Dr.  Satyam Tripathi, while giving information on 'Respiratory Order and Impact of Covid-19 on Current Scenario Including Post covid Situation, said that in general, infection of covid-19 along with lung and respiratory system causes problems.  In which bronchitis swells and there is a burning sensation in it. There is also more production of mucus in it, due to which phlegm is formed.  There are two types of bronchitis, acute and chronic. Acute gets better in two to three weeks while chronic lasts longer.  Pneumonia causes the air sac in both lungs to swell, pus can fill in it, this weakens the immune system.  While laryngitis prevents food and fluid from entering the lungs, the common cold is an infection of the nose and throat that heals in 7 to 10 days, a sore throat caused by a virus infection called pharyngitis.  In the changing season, diseases related to the respiratory system start gaining momentum.  To avoid this, we have to take care from food to cleanliness.  He highlighted the impact of COVID-19 from its past form to the present in all its forms, from Covid Delta to Omicron.  He also told about their causes and methods of treatment.  In the second lecture of the guest lecture, Dr.  Amit Singh, Associate Professor Swami Vivekananda Yoga Research Institute, Bangalore gave important information.  He said that yoga is our ancient method, while doing yoga, it has to be kept in mind that what is the health problem from which water is the solution.  Important in yoga are pranayama called breathing exercises, asanas called physical postures, meditation which includes relaxation and mindfulness.  Effective results can be achieved through yoga not only in diabetes but also in many other diseases.  He said that some yogas are also forbidden in many diseases, they should be done only under the guidance of a qualified yoga teacher.  Senior officials of the university were present during the program.  At the end of the program, both the lecturers were honored with shawls, quince and moments.  On this occasion Pro  Chancellor Anant Kumar Soni, Per-Vice Chancellor Prof.  R .  S .  Tripathi, Prof.  Ramesh Chandra Tripathi, Department of Forestry, Prof.  GC Mishra, and Head of Pharmacy Dr.  Suryaprakash Gupta's presence was noteworthy.
